Talking BITs: Burnout Prevention for First Responders

This is a members-only event.

Healthcare, emergency, and helping professionals typically engage in high amounts of compassion and empathy and are asked to respond to high risk and stressful situations. Couple this with often being under resourced and over-worked and you create a high likelihood of burnout or compassion fatigue.  It is important that first responders and those in helping professions engage in intentional efforts to prevent burnout and compassion fatigue. This Talking BITs will present strategies for preventing burnout and compassion fatigue as well as practical takeaways for engaging in effective self-care.

Who should attend?
