Talking BITs: One Team vs. Two Teams

Date: February 25, 2022
Time:
2:00pm-3:00pm ET
*This event is free for Members only!

Description:

There are often many questions about whether it is a good idea for a school to have two teams (such as a BIT/CARE Team and a Threat Assessment Team) versus one. NABITA favors the idea of a single team that has a threat assessment capacity, rather than building an entirely separate team. Not only is the use of two teams a lot of work for very little gain, but there are several problems that arise from the use of separate teams. Join the presenters as they talk through policy and procedure manuals, points of entry for reporting, marketing and educational campaigns, preventing silos, data management systems, team cohesion, and more.
