As a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist and Family Advocate, Rebecca has worked closely with individuals and families in crisis, witnessing firsthand the impact of violence and disconnection on communities. These experiences have fueled her unwavering commitment to prevention and healing through education.
Rebecca teaches personal development and communication skills to help reduce violence, promote understanding, and empower others to build stronger, more compassionate relationships. She is a certified instructor for Mental Health First Aid training for youth, teens, and adults. Her work emphasizes emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and respectful communication as essential tools for personal and community transformation.
Rebecca has been recognized with the Hometown Hero Award for youth mentorship and the Caliber Award of Excellence for youth advocacy.
