Angie Logan-Pope is a seasoned Title IX professional with experience in higher education and institutional compliance. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing Title IX compliance and fostering safe, inclusive environments for students, faculty, and staff. With a diverse background encompassing roles as a Government Contract Investigator, Title IX Investigator, Deputy Title IX Coordinator, and Title IX Director, Angie has developed a comprehensive understanding of Title IX regulations, investigations, policies, and procedures.
As a Title IX Investigator, Angie honed her expertise in conducting sensitive investigations into allegations of sexual harassment, assault, and discrimination, ensuring adherence to legal standards and institutional policies. In her role as Deputy Title IX Coordinator, Angie supported the development and implementation of institutional policies and procedures aimed at ensuring compliance with Title IX. As a Title IX Director, Angie assumed full responsibility for overseeing and guiding the institution’s Title IX efforts, from policy development and training to compliance monitoring. With a focus on education, prevention, and advocacy, Angie has been at the forefront of driving institutional change at Howard University to promote a campus culture free from discrimination, harassment, and violence.

Angie holds a B.S. from the College of Charleston and an M.S. in Forensic Studies from Stevenson University with a concentration on Legal Studies, with many certifications and training in Title IX, Informal Resolution, higher education law, and discrimination prevention.
