Apply Evidence-Based Tools to Evaluate and Address Risks and Threats

Develop both foundational and advanced skills to understand and manage violence risk and threats in campus settings. NABITA’s Risk Rubric trains participants to apply an objective tool for evaluating threat and pre-threat behaviors consistently across every case. NABITA’s Structured Interview for Violence Risk Assessment (SIVRA) is an evidence-based tool for conducting thorough interviews and assessing risk factors. Individualized Threat Management Plan teaches participants to leverage assessment findings into actionable, measurable strategies for real-world application. Participants will be equipped to identify risk early, assess it with rigor, and implement effective management plans aligned with NABITA’s best practices.
