Tina Hatch is the Compliance Officer and Title IX Coordinator for Salt Lake City School District, where she has served in her current role for eight years. Tina conducts and oversees investigations involving federal and state civil rights matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, Title IX sexual harassment, bullying, cyber-bullying, hazing, and abusive conduct. She also oversees Title IX compliance across the district, including athletics, and presents the district’s annual Title IX athletics report to the Board of Education.
As a member of the Policy and Legal Services Department, Tina works closely with the district’s General Counsel on civil rights policies, procedures, and compliance. She provides annual training to school and district administrators and personnel and has established a network of Deputy Title IX Coordinators across the district’s schools to support consistent, timely, and appropriate responses to Title IX concerns.
Tina is a certified EEO, Civil Rights, and Title IX investigator; a trained K–12 Title IX Coordinator; and a CompTIA Certified Project Manager. She serves on the ATIXA Advisory Board and participates in multiple ATIXA Communities of Practice. Tina is a past Chair and current Board member of Utah Law Related Education. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration.
