Josie Eskow Skinner is a founding partner at Sligo Law Group, PLLC, with 15 years of legal experience spanning federal education and public interest law. Before founding the firm, Josie served in the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of General Counsel, where she advised officials across multiple administrations on K–12 education programs and legal issues involving federal grants, equitable services, and First Amendment and church-state requirements. At Sligo Law Group, she advises education agencies and organizations on statutory and regulatory compliance and represents clients in litigation involving federal education funding and agency action.
