Amy Kittle currently serves as a Title IX Coordinator for Davis and Elkins College and West Virginia Wesleyan College. Kittle has over ten years of experience working in Title IX at both large public and small private institutions.
Prior to serving in this dual role, Kittle served as the Assistant Director for Prevention and Education at a large public R1/D1 university where she oversaw and coordinated the university’s prevention and education efforts as well as the University’s Title IX and DEI trainings for the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. When she first joined the University, she worked a Senior Investigation where she was responsible for conducting prompt, equitable, and impartial investigations of reports of sexual misconduct and harassment as well as other forms of discrimination and harassment for both employees and students. Kittle started her Title IX work as a Coordinator for a small private where in addition to Title IX work, she managed the institution’s policy manuals and served as the Compliance Officer.
In other professional roles, Kittle served as coordinator for academic support, providing accommodations to students with learning disabilities, a high and middle school English teacher, and prevention educator at a rape and domestic violence shelter. Kittle holds a M.S. in Adult Education from Indiana University and a Master of Legal Studies degree from Drexel University.
