Rochelle serves as WGU’s Senior Student Civil Rights Officer and Title IX Coordinator, bringing specialized expertise in civil rights compliance, Title IX processes, student safety, equitable resolution of concerns, and institutional response to complex student situations. She holds certifications in Title IX & Title VI Administration, Title VI investigator and SIVRA-35. She has been in education for 23 years. As a member of WGU’s Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT), Rochelle provides critical guidance on cases involving Title IX, discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, student rights, and other civil rights-related concerns. Her contributions support the team’s multidisciplinary approach to risk assessment, intervention planning, information gathering, and coordinated student support, helping ensure interventions are both student-centered and aligned with university policies and federal regulations.
