Dave Joyce is a former Assistant United States Attorney with extensive experience in courtrooms in Maine and other jurisdictions. As a federal prosecutor for 20 years, Dave led hundreds of grand jury investigations and served as first-chair for more than a dozen trials. His work included the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children and human trafficking. Dave also served as Chief Inspector for the Federal Bureau of Prisons with a focus on reducing sexual violence and contraband introduction to federal prisons. Dave is currently a partner at Brann & Isaacson. He is ATIXA certified as a Title IX Hearing Officer and Decision Maker. Dave earned a B.A. from Williams College, a M.A. and J.D. from the University of Miami, and a doctorate in public health from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
