Madeline Buitelaar, J.D., is a Senior Attorney at Oppenheimer Investigations Group. She has led more than 200 workplace, Title IX, and other misconduct investigations for public and private sector clients.
Our practice includes extensive work conducting trauma-informed interviews, evaluating credibility, assessing conflicting evidence, and preparing detailed investigative reports in matters involving both minor and adult parties. We regularly investigate cases involving complex credibility issues, including delayed reporting, conflicting witness accounts, recantations, intoxication, and limited corroborating evidence. We also regularly present and train on these topics.
