20 Minutes to… Trained: Student Conduct and BIT

This 20-Minutes to… Trained focuses on the intersection of Behavioral Intervention Teams and student conduct in colleges and universities. Expert NABITA faculty members Tim Cason, M.Ed., and W. Scott Lewis, J.D., discuss the role of student conduct personnel on a BIT and their engagement with BIT cases. Faculty members also explore the use of student conduct to address behavior that may initially be referred to the BIT and how best to provide fair processes and accountability for all. This is an excellent training opportunity for all members of a BIT and any member of student conduct who may frequently liaison with BITs.
