NABITA provides one $1500 research award annually, given to those creating new and innovative research in the field of behavioral intervention and best practice. The NABITA Research Award is based on the scope of the study, the contribution to the field, and advancement of best practices.
Those chosen for the research award will be expected to do one of the following:
- Present their research during a 60-minute NABITA webinar;
- Present their research during a 45-minute NABITA conference concurrent session; or
- Provide a written series of four resources (1-2 page takeaways) for our member newsletter.
Payment will be made in two installments – one following awarding, and the second following the completion of the requirements listed above.
The 2022 NABITA Research Award application closed on October 7, 2022. All award recipients will be notified by October 14, 2022.
The 2023 application will be opened in the new year. Check back soon!
