A Behavioral or threat Assessment Team is a multi-disciplinary group of individuals who mitigate reported concerning behavior and/or threats of violence. Most individuals in these groups do this as a secondary position, having a full-time job to accomplish as well. As the leader of your team, you are tasked with ensuring the right people are at the table, policies and protocols are being adhered to, keeping executive leadership aware of trends, and, most importantly, keeping your community safe. This Talking BIT session will discuss ways in which you can effectively and professionally lead your team to accomplish your established goals.
