Alonzo (Zo) Whaley serves as the Residential Case Manager with Student Advocacy and Support, using a relationship-centered approach to provide individualized support to residential students while partnering with Residence Life staff to identify concerns, navigate resources, and coordinate care. He is a first-generation college graduate, husband, devoted father of three daughters, and he will complete his M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this spring. Zo describes himself as a product of phenomenal people—individuals who saw more in him than he could see in himself and helped shape who he is today. He strives to offer that same support to others, believing meaningful relationships extend beyond a job title. Zo takes pride in building genuine connections with students and helping them develop the tools and confidence to accomplish their goals.
