Emily Babb is the Associate Vice President for Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance and Title IX and Title VI Coordinator at Northwestern University. Before joining Northwestern, Babb served as the Associate Vice President for Equal Opportunity and Title IX/Title IX Coordinator at the University of Denver and the Assistant Vice President for Title IX Compliance/Title IX Coordinator at the University of Virginia. She also spent over 10 years at the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights in the Dallas and Cleveland regional offices. Babb earned a B.A. in English and Communications Arts & Sciences from DePauw University and a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She serves on the ATIXA Advisory Board.
