Katy Rogers, M.A.

Katy Rogers, M.A. is a trainer, technical assistance provider, credentialed advocate, preventionist, and seasoned student affairs professional from the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA). Katy holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Arts in Intercultural Youth and Family Development from the University of Montana, and is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Botswana 2012-2015).

Katy brings over a decade of experience leading multidisciplinary teams to implement large scale, systems-level change, and her area of expertise is coordinated community response (CCR). Katy was a Project Director for 6 years for Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) grants to reduce dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking on college campuses in Maryland and Washington state. In previous roles in higher education, she served on a team of Deputy Title IX Coordinators and supported responses to concerning behavior reports on a BIT/CARE team. In her journey from crime survivor to advocate and educator, Katy feels distinctly honored to build upon the successes and struggles of the many lineages of grassroots organizers who came before her.
