Lauren Numeroff is a seasoned investigator who spent 10 years working for the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, among other roles in education and law.
Our practice includes extensive work conducting trauma-informed interviews, evaluating credibility, assessing conflicting evidence, and preparing detailed investigative reports in matters involving both minor and adult parties. We regularly investigate cases involving complex credibility issues, including delayed reporting, conflicting witness accounts, recantations, intoxication, and limited corroborating evidence. We also regularly present and train on these topics.
