Malavika Mani is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the University of Warwick, specializing in behavioral economics and data science. She previously worked as a research fellow at Columbia University. Her research examines how institutional design and behavioral biases shape economic decision-making. She currently studies Title IX reporting systems, using large-scale data to analyze how administrative design features such as procedural complexity, information structure, and anonymity affect sexual assault reporting on college campuses. Her work aims to generate evidence-based policy recommendations to improve reporting processes and reduce administrative barriers.
