Talking BITs/Time with IX: Navigating Disability-Related Concerns: Institutional Responses for Title IX and Behavioral Intervention Teams

May 21, 2026 | 3-4:30pm ET | Members-only

Campus professionals may encounter situations where disability-related experiences intersect with institutional processes, raising questions about safety, disruption, or appropriate response. This Talking BITs/Time with IX explores how Title IX and Behavioral Intervention Teams (BITs) can thoughtfully navigate concerns involving students with disabilities while balancing institutional responsibilities, student autonomy, and equitable treatment. The presenters will discuss common challenges, explore cross-campus coordination, and consider strategies for responding in ways that are informed, supportive, and aligned with institutional policies.
